This place is not the Flying J, so call the number to get the actual address. But at their new location: Racist ass security manager abrasively, verbally attacks me. With a black officer. There are a whole bunch of other homeless evacuees from Florida escaping hurricane Irma who are white, but I did not care about the skin color. It did not matter to me, and it still does not. But I am a hurricane of evacuee (black and Native American), and I had to be verbally attacked. While I'm calling 211 for assistance with travel. So yes, racist. So, my puppy and I left after that and sat to the side of the road as people passed us by as if we were nothing. I walked in and talked to the black female who was actually the third shift manager, and she invited us back. I felt like crying. The black security guard tried to make conversation asking me about my puppy's breed. I was so hurt from earlier, I didn't feel like talking to him. Minutes later, both he and the white security manager stand off in front of the Flying J from afar staring at me as they talked. I stared back at them. They walked away as if to hide. As I was feeding my puppy her food and water, they walked past us to their vehicles in the side parking lot, and began looking our way cracking jokes. The black security officer cracks a joke saying, "I'll kick...". He didn't make the rest of his statement aloud. YOU'LL KICK WHO!? Me? My puppy?!!!! This is going to corporate.
