  VERY POOR customer service... While purchasing my new Galaxy S8 Active I asked the associate, "Do I need a case and screen protector for this phone?" The associate replied, "Oh no. You don't need ANY additional protection for this phone. It's shatter proof and scratch resistant." NOT!!!!!!! The S8 active screen is the worst I've seen. I've been using Samsung phones since the Galaxy inception and the S8 is the most sensitive I've used. It will have scratches the first day with only a few finger swipes. Oh, but it's "perfect for contractors and outdoor workers." Again, NOT!!!!!!!! So, after falling into the recording death trap of the customer service line for an hour and a half I decided to visit the store in person. There isn't any power to help customers at a local level. The associates competence and knowledge stops beyond the phone in their pocket. The associate actually tried to sell me a screen protector to put over a badly scratched screen. I DON'T WANT THE DAMN SCRATCHES ON MY SCREEN!!!!!!!! The best this person could do for me is put me on the phone with another powerless person without any know. I love my phone but it would have been nice to get the proper information so that my 900.00 phone wouldn't be scratched up on day 16 of my ownership.
